Finally!

Finally had the time to blog again after almost 3 months! Most of you may already be thinking 'what ever happened?' Well, okay, at least now you know I'm still alive.

I have just been busy as usual but soon I'll divulge the reason for my hiatus.

Now here's something that will surely put a smile on your face:

And when you pick your nose, I hope you think of my adorable son.

Have a good one!

North Shore

Early Thursday morning, I was like Jack Kerouac as I marveled at the beauty on the road to the North Shore...

A far cry from the Golden Gate Bridge but a bridge that serves its purpose nonetheless

Finally arriving at the world famous Waimea Bay

Home to the legendary surfer Mark Foo

Not wasting any time, I started clicking the cam catching the ocean's wrath

Unfazed by the sudden raining, I took a shot of these people running for cover

I finally ducked into the changing room to protect the camera. I found out later on that it is waterproof

Kai was enjoying the sand as soon as the sun was out again

Leaving footprints of the next best surfer

A random surfer defying the odds

Rescuers are close by and the day just got hotter!

I love this picture that I took

the balance of the colors caught in this one quick moment. This bodyboarder ran to brave the surf literally the second after I clicked the cam. I love it!

This one's a gem too as you can barely see the surfer inside the pipeline

Wiped out!

My source of bliss and tranquility...

and his...

Priceless.

"Why think about that when all the golden land's ahead of you and all kinds of unforeseen events wait lurking to surprise you and make you glad you're alive to see?"

Time to Repent

So, I just literally got home after a very random mardi gras. It is now 4:15 am.

Not at all planning on going anywhere tonight... I was just en route to a peaceful night's sleep when I got a phone call from my boss and a co-worker asking if I wanted to have a late night Chinese food with them. I was just finishing up at work. I was full. I just had my dinner at 10 pm but I figured, why not? Fried wontons, hot pot, bittermelon, and 3 Coors Light later, I found myself at Sandbox, a gay bar in Kuhio ave.

I met up with an ex co-worker, her boyfriend, a co-worker, her ex, and a guy they were pairing me up with just because we make up "Will and Grace".

More beers and a couple of shots of who knows what later, I found myself dancing my ass off... and I have not danced in such a long time! I was in trance. I have not danced in such a long, long time... I was in my element... my sexiest... 'cause when I dance, I lose it all. When I close my eyes and sing the words to the song, you know I am almost making love to that one I'm getting my groove on with. Tonight, amidst all the gay men in that club, I danced the night away. I f****d 'em all senseless. It was liberating. Orgasmic, almost. Ha! Kidding! Yeah, but I know it because I even danced to Britney Spears' 'Circus'.

Oh, to make a completely liberating night, I dared Will to make out with this blonde gay guy after I introduced them to each other. If you must know, the "Will" in the "Will and Grace" is a closet gay and I'm just proud of him for he was totally up for the challenge and went for it. Talk about a liberating night!

I'm off the bed now. Unfortunately, I am not even able to upload a picture of my party hat. My cam fell and broke while someone was trying to take a photo of us at the club. So, I'm just finishing off with a simple "good night". I hope you all had a PHAT Fat Tuesday!
